The American people need more than strongly worded letters and passionate speeches from our leaders. The leadership of the party must either take bold action immediately or allow others to step forward to do what they will not.  We need Democratic leadership to step up not only when the opposition is in power but also when Democrats are in power.

Democrats must deliver real change when in power as opposed to only talking about how terrible the other side is. Democrats must start wielding power on behalf of the working class with as much enthusiasm as Republicans have been wielding their power to benefit the wealthy and chip away at our rights. There should be no procedural rule or Parliamentarian that gets in the way of legislation the American people need.
