Do you feel like your concerns are represented in Congress? Of course not, and you're not alone. Before we can fix our problems, we must acknowledge that right now the only ones getting what they want are billionaires, corporations, Wall Street and select foreign countries. Our members of Congress should represent the interests of the American people, not wealthy donors or corporate lobbyists. I promise that I won’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. That is the bare minimum every voter should expect.

The problem is not just with corporate money but also whether your member of Congress is willing to stand up for you, even if that means challenging their own party. Your Congressman might not take money directly from a specific corporation or PAC but the party might, or the leadership in Congress might. So when it comes time to vote on legislation packed with corporate handouts, your Congressman might just go along with it. We need leaders who are willing to challenge the corporate owned establishment in order to pass legislation that actually benefits the people. That is why I am running for Congress.
