La Grange, Illinois — December 18, 2025 — Former Congresswoman of IL-3, Marie Newman, has formally endorsed Joseph “Joey” Ruzevich, Democratic candidate for Illinois’ 6th Congressional District. Marie Newman has also confirmed her attendance as the keynote speaker at Joey Ruzevich’s fundraising dinner on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 6:00 pm in Bridgeview, Illinois at Al Bawadi Grill.

The fundraiser will bring together supporters from across Illinois’ 6th District, including community leaders, grassroots organizers, and residents from DuPage and Cook Counties who are backing Ruzevich’s effort to bring new leadership to Congress.
